Please come join us for our annual Community Wide Clean Up! The CWCU is sponsored by the City of West Columbia, Corporate Sponsors, Local Churches and Businesses. Many civic group volunteers, students, churches as well as other groups of local citizens will be canvassing the streets of West Columbia cleaning our local parks, picking up trash, etc.. There is something or every age! 8:00am - Sign up & Light breakfast @ 625 West Brazos (Gulf Coast Christian Center.) 9:00am - 12:30pm Clean Up West Columbia! 12:30pm - 2:00pm A Taco Bar will be provided afterwards prepared by Columbia United Methodist Church located @ 315 S.16th St. Bring your favorite gloves and garden tools and prepare to get DIRTY!

Join us for the Class of 2020 Project Grad Halloween Carnival! We will be offering tons of games, face painting, cup cake walk, costume contest and of course an amazingly spooky haunted house! Wrist bands allow you to do all of the activities, minus the haunted house, for the great price of $12!! All games have prizes! Bring your family out for great food and fun and to support your local project grad!

Take a spooky stroll around the Varner-Hogg Plantation grounds and listen to tales about the ghostly heritage of the area. Plenty of dangers lurked in the early Texas wilderness and many settlers didn’t live to tell their tales! Then, discover Victorian funeral and mourning practices on a candlelight tour of the Plantation main house. PLUS...HAUNTED HAYRIDES, STORYTELLERS AND MAYBE, AN UNEXPECTED GUEST OR TWO! A kid-friendly event! Admission: $8 per person/$6 in advance. Snacks and drinks available for additional charge.
